Minimum period of rental:
For all bookings, minimum limit is 1 day. The vehicle should be returned at the same time as collection. A delay of over one hour will result to extra charges.

Delivery/ colletion of vehicles:
for all prebooked car rental, transport (via coach) from the airport to our facilities is free of charge.
Upon request, delivery/ collection from the airport can be arranged at an additional cost of 20 e per way.
We also deliver to other non long distaned locations from our facilities in extra cost that depends on how far the location is

Extra charges:
Baby/ Child/ booster seats at an extra charge of 5€ per day

Driver:
The minimum age of the driver is 23 years.
Drivers over the age of 75 will have an extra charge of 5€ / day
For additional drivers there is an extra charge of 5 € / day

Driving licence requirements:
All Eu and Non EU driving licences must have been held of a minimum 2 years of the day of the rental.
For members of European union (including Switzerland and Liechtenstein nationals, Norway, Iceland, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland), a driving license is required.
For holders of driving license of non EU countries, in addition to their national driver license, we require a valid International Driving License, issued at least one year ago.
IN case the above necessary documents are not demonstrated upon signing of the rental contract, renting cannot be possible. See our cancellation policy for details.

Fuel:
The driver has to return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel in the tank as on the day he/she picked up the vehicle, otherwise he/she will be charged with the difference for the missing fuel, in addition to a service charge of 15€

Insurance and extra charges:
collision damage waiver is frequently icluded in the rental rate and limits the driver’s liability to the agency to the applicable excess, which applies to each incident damage caused , other than theft, or vandalism to our vehicle.
CDW covers the following cases of damage:
fires caused by vehicle defect, including electrical fault, or from adjacent fire or explosion, criminal or terrorism acts
CDW Excess Cover:
i. 600€ (Euro) for Normal size cars (Volkswagen Up, Volkswagen Polo, Scoda Fabia)
ii. 1100€ (Euro) for Van
Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) and theft protection insurance:
The SCDW is optional and reduces the CDW excess to Zero – under the condition that the damage is not due to infringement of the Greek Traffic Code
SCDW covers the following cases of damage:
i. 10 € per day for the Normal size cars
ii. 17 € per day for Van
*For SCDW waiver does not include keys, undercarriage and side skirts.

*Security deposit: Before renting a Vehicle from the rental location, a pre- authorisation is required as a deposit. For that purpose an approved payment card (under driver’s name) with enough funds in it shall be used *

Traffic fines:
All fines resulting from the drivers conduct are borne solely by the renter
No insurance covers any violation of the Greek Traffic Law
Drivers are fully liable for all damages and fines resulted by respective violation, they shall pay all respective fines and provide the supplier with proof of payment before leaving Greece
Renters shall also pay a non-refundable fee of 100 € in case of loss or removal of the license plates by the police or other public authorities as a result of traffic violation.

Damage and Theft:
Responsibility
If the vehicle is lost, stolen or damaged during the rental, the driver is responsible for all losses suffered (up to the full value of the vehicle) and all costs incurred, unless the loss or damage is directly due to the agent, or the agent has been reimbursed by a third party or the insurer.
Loss or damage of keys
No insurance covers any loss or damage to the vehicle keys. In these cases a minimum repair fee of 150 € is applied including Vat and taxes.
Driver’s liability to the agent may include:
Cost of repairs and loss of rental income
Towing and storage charges
Loss in value of the vehicle
Administration charges to recover the agency’s cost for dealing with these issues and any related claim

Significant dirt:
No insurance covers stained interior that cannot be cleaned with normal/ common washing. In these cases renter will be charged 100 € including Vat and taxes for the biological cleaning of the vehicle

Vehicle Transport limits:
Vehicle insurance covers Kefalonia and Ithaca only
24 hours assistance is valid only on Kefalonia island
Transfering the vehicle by boat within the limits of the prefecture of Kefalonia and Ithaca is allowed: Argostoli to Lixouri to Argostoli and Kefalonia to Ithaca to Kefalonia
